Even though this isn't the last DVD in the series, this volume definitely completely wraps up the storyline. First, the Yumi mystery is fully explained, and after she finds a way to deal with comparing herself to persocoms, she's able to start again with the baker (so his character ties up two stories at once!). Kokubunji (I love saying his name) helps Hideki research just what Chi is, along with the weird guy who kidnapped Chi in the last DVD. During their research, we learn about his feelings for his own persocom Yuzuki (whom he made to replace his dead sister). Finally we get the full story, including who the landlady really is, and even who the bizarre guy and gal in black suits are who are monitoring Chi. Each storyline of this series leads to a touching exploration of love - what it means to be happy, what it means to be human. When Chi finally tells Hideki she loves him (and waits for his answer), it's certainly an emotional moment unlike any other! Her non-humanity, which represents the "faults" in all of us, is what makes it beautiful and gives this whole series such a hopeful message (in a crazy anime, techno-weird style, of course). I've heard the next volume is all flashbacks, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it anyway!
