I just love obsessing over WEBmikey web statistics! I use a pretty simple service from TheCounter.com, but it lets me see things like how people got to my site, which is usually from Google searches. Lately I've been hit for everything from "ramen in Honolulu" to "Sir Walter Raleigh". I think the diversity of subjects is cool, since it makes me seem prolific! Lately I've been trying to get indexed by various other blog directory sites, so maybe I'm getting more hits that way. In a related story, WEBmikey was somehow selected as Blog of the Day for April 14th on eugene.com, which is a site about Eugene, Oregon! I've never even been to Oregon, but I'll take any recognition I can get. I guess somebody there found my site and had a laugh, and that's all any blogger can ask for. Labels: life Post a Comment |
