I always find it amazing when I can light my pipe with one match and smoke it down to ash. Back when I was an amateur, I must have had to relight it about 20 times! Today I took my old Edwin Jansen pipe from New Orleans to be reamed, so now it's like new. I wonder if the old guy who made it is still alive - he was so kind to me when he sold me the pipe, which I proudly puffed on Bourbon Street. Labels: life |
