Tonight was the last night I'll see my good friend Tom for two years, since he'll be with the Peace Corps in Uzbekistan. All of Tom's friends had a final dinner on Friday night at Buca di Beppo, then tonight Ernesto cooked the final-final dinner for the closest crowd (so Tom had a total of three going-away parties!). The good-bye was sad, but I know he's going to have a fulfilling adventure, and there will be one hell of a party when he returns in 2005!
Today I received my shareholder dividend from Disney on my single share - a gigantic 21 cents! That's down from my 26 cents last year, but I still think getting a check from Mickey is the coolest thing around. Labels: life |
