 First off, don't you hate the apostrophe after a word that ends with an "s"? It looks so wrong to me. Anyway, Tom and I rented this DVD since it was the only thing we could agree on at ultra-mainstream Blockbuster, and it made for a nice relaxing Sunday evening movie. I hadn't been overly impressed with Renee Zellweger in the past, but it always amazes me when someone can maintain an accent and really transform into a character (like Gwenyth in Sliding Doors). The plot is really cute, of course, and does a good job of making you see yourself in Bridget (which is easier for some than others!).Labels: movies |
