 Yes, I played D&D when I was younger, and I still love fantasy movies. When this film came out, my friends and I knew it was going to be terrible, but I rented it anyway. Not only is it bad, but I couldn't wait for it to end! Even if you overlook the goofy acting and silly storyline, you have to face the terrible special effects - pretty much all of the establishing shots are CG, and they look just like a video game! To top it off, Jeremy Irons plays the villain in his worst performance ever - he must have needed to pay off a new car really bad that month. Only watch if you have a fetish for burly bad guys with blue lipstick.Labels: dvds |
