 My pal Tom was nice enough to accompany me to DC for my good friend Helen's wedding, and we had an amazing time. We were surprised at how much we were able to do in four days: tons of art galleries, Smithsonian museums, the National Zoo, and we ate lots of great food, too (and drank the mysterious horseradish vodka!). The wedding and the reception were a nice cap to the trip (but getting stuck in Dallas and driving back to Austin in a rental car was not). View photos: Washington, DC with Tom
