 Places of worship: First Unity Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma
Beliefs: God is in everything and everyone. Some of my New Age reading mentioned the Unity movement, which is basically an organized New Age church incorporating the beliefs of many different religions (including Christianity). Unity immediately felt like home - the service included meditation, the people were friendly, and the messages were about anything and everything. I went to church services and even many workshops. The only problem was it never seemed to go as deep as I wanted, so I kept my eyes open for something more intense. Labels: memories, spirituality |
